Healthy skin, safe patients
Healthy skin, safe patients: The scale and impact that HAIs have on health systems around the world is considerable, with a higher risk of patient reinfection rates, longer hospital stays and increased financial burdens. It is therefore vital that hospitals implement best practice protocols to ensure that any avoidable risks are lessened. We believe that CHG bathing, implemented universally across the hospital, offers a key tool to reduce instances of HAIs.
Our UK Patient Hygiene Advisory Board meeting which brought together leading experts from across the UK infection prevention landscape, is the latest chapter in our journey to prevent infections. During the discussions, we reached a consensus on the value of high-quality hygiene practice and the crucial role that it plays during a patient’s hospital stay.
